I Alexandra McLoughlin caught up with English Rocker Duncan from Birmingham Band from A Day Called Desire for a quick chat,to find out the latest on A Day Called Desire.

Daniel - vocals
Thompson - guitar/vocals
Matt - guitar/vocals
Davey - bass guitar
Duncan - drums

What have u been up to latley (band wise)?

Duncan: Ahh cool, weve just been writing some new stuff and were going into the sudio at the end of January to record some new songs.

Excellent! Are you excited?

Duncan: Yeah should be good

i cant wait to see what people think

It does feel amazing when people your work! What should we expect from the new songs then?

Duncan: They’re a bit more together, they’re a bit poppier in places but still heavy

Its still definatly us.

It sounds like your being a bit more musically diverse..Did you guys make it poppier to challange people perceptions of you?

Duncan: nah we had a change of line up and a bit of a rethink about our approach to this set of songs, were still quite a young band so were finding our sounds still, id like to think that this is a bit closer to it

what bands would you say inspire you?

Duncan: Personally i love The Bronx at the moment they rock!

And finally ..Do you think you will tour with them in the near future?

Duncan: Ahh I’d love to, i met them very briefly, and turned into a complete wreck i could hardly talk.
