Kerrang 25 Bullet For My Valentine at Leeds MET university

well on a freezing cold cold night in west yorkshire, many young revellers and fanatics stood in line to witness a great line-up (which many considered "EMO" when it was METAL). as day turned to night and the doors were opened, There was an insult to injury even before you entered the arena as NO STOODED BELTS were allowed in the arena. now i understand why they would take knifes or bombs off people but come on...
First on the stage were the energetic AIDEN who proceeded to blast through their set with the crowd hanging on to their every word in anticipation. The lead singer worked the crowd like clay in the palm of his hand and on the final song "world by storm" he stood ON TOP of the crowd bellowing with all the feeling in the world " It's In our heads, It's in our hearts, The world by storm.."
This band are destined for bigger things.
Next up, Still Remains took to the stage for their emotionally charged metal show which didnt really live up to the expectations that many fans were giving althoguh they did put alot of energy into what they did. Americans Hawthrone Heights were next up and althoguh the corwd did not warm to them as much as they did to AIDEN,
Hawthorne Heights played through their set against the world. Being the more "SOFTER" of bands on the tour, they still pt on a great live spectical belting out hits like "NIKI FM" and finishing with "OHIO IS FOR LOVERS" which the crowd basically went crazy for. Finally, the time had come. Bullet for my Valentine were Preparing to enter the arena and face the leeds faithful. Although their presence made no difference as the theme music started and chants of "BULLET, BULLET, BULLET" went around leeds like wildfire. A blistering set from a blistering metal band soon to take over the world of metal...
