Originally founded in 1996, RENTOKILL from Vienna re-elevated with a new guitarist and bassplayer in spring 2003. From then on, they formed a constituent part of the Austrian punk/hc-scene - representing powerful punkrock with a political but positive message. More and more concerts got played and RENTOKILL pushed their on-stage experience to the next level.

Their sound can be compared to heavy weights like PROPAGANDHI, RISE AGAINST, STRIKE ANYWHERE and RICH KIDS ON LSD, but always with a tasty note of individuality and progression in their music. Fast and exact drumming, striking melodies and hard driven guitars come along with socio/political lyrics and jack´s aggressive and raspy voice.

Their latest album "BACK TO CONVENIENCE" was released in Austria on RiseOrRustRecords (CD) and on BrokenHeart (Vinyl) in spring 2004, and got
remarkable reviews in Europe´s leading print- and webzines. It therefor will be released on EngineerRecords (UK/USA) and VitaminepillenRecords (Germany) in january 2005.

Watch out for heavy touring including Germany and the UK in february/march and the rest of europe later in 2005! non-conforming, anti-consuming and animal-liberating punkrock at a place near you!
