Italy's Eight Mockers were born somewhen in 1998 with the name"The Mockers". Within a few month they realise their first mini CD entitled "Worthless Coins" on Trashed Records.
After a many show in Italy, the band embarks on their first tour outside of Italy somewhere in may of 2001 with some dates in Austria. After many apparitions on various compilations the badn undergoes a metamorphosis in the summer of 2003 . Firstly, for reasons they are mysteriously unwilling to unveil, they change their name from "The Mockers" to the "Eight Mockers"and they ink a deal with UAZ Records, owned and managed by their friends in Persiana Jones. "Ready To Explode" is to be the name of their first full length with a sound that has changed and features more power, more melodies, more emotions, and way more maturity. They play in a lot of important Italian clubs and festivals in support of that album, and recently opened up for bands the likes of voodoo glow skulls, persiana jones, against all authority...
Both their album and live shows had good reviews in many printed zines, magazines and webzines. At this day and age, they are having a good time mainly in Italy and Austria, both with old and new songs. So stay tuned!!!
