Band Profile: Awaiting Seasons
Added on Apr 21, 2005

It is in this moment that the time has come for a band called Awaiting Seasons. With the changing of seasons come new adventures and for Awaiting Seasons the time for a new adventure is now. An adventure that has been worth the wait and to which new pages are added daily. It are these pages onto which sincere emotions find a place to express themselves, and are being dealt with directly.....in whatever form possible.
Awaiting Seasons has found the perfect way to combine passion, emotion en nuanced agresion into a driven, balanced whole. Their fresh sound is the one of diversity; personal yet inventive songwriting expressed by their emotional driven, sincere and irresistibly melodic music, that is as much touchy as it is rocking. They have assimilated rather than imitated, to create a mature sound that is all their own.
These ingredients, in turn, are being used to put on a very energetic live performance, in which dedication and intensity are the key elements.
The four members have earned there ways in several punk- and hardcorebands (Crivits, Springrain, Every Six Seconds). The thing that binds them is their passion for music. Awaiting Seasons is a way to express our emotions and a way to escape the straightjacked of the society we call our daily lives. For us, awaiting seasons is more than just a band. It is our way of life and we are prepared to give everything for the opportunity. “live your dreams” as quoted by leadsinger/guitarist Joost Seasons.
Awaiting Seasons operate from their heart. One half has reached its completion, shaped by the time of its existence. The other half is yet to be build, and the time is now. Finish building your own heart.
We’re all awaiting seasons, we’re all awaiting change...
