Band Profile: Anal Beard

After 10 years of boring and upsetting the locals of Brighton (UK) The Beard are still going strong. With a string of independent releases to their name they are duly proud of the last CD album called Din Noir.

There's past reviews in magazines like Kerrang and Record Collector (where they received the dubious honour of having single of the month), various "zines" and even in a book about Brighton called The Cheeky Guide to Brighton.
They have played all over England at various venues and taken part in stuff like Wasted and some Punx Picnix and Punk Aid (if you've heard of any of that.)
Unfortunately, never outside England. There were gigs scheduled for New york (even one at CBGBs) for the weekend following 9/11. These fell through for the obvious reason.
Depending on who you ask they are perhaps Brighton legends or Brighton fagends....either way, everyone says they've heard of them.
