Band Profile: Bad (Love) Experience

Bad (Love) Experience band born in October 2000. 4 labronic teen agers who love punk rock start to play instruments just to kill their boring afternoons. The original formation was composed by Vale (vocals and guitar), Ema (bass and vocals), Edo (guitar) and Gabri (drums). They always started to write their own lyrics but their italian punk rock was raw and superficial. The only thing who cared was have fun doing mess. Time take the members of the band to improve themselves and make something serious. The band starts to play a more technical sound california hc style, taking inspiration from bands as Lagwagon, No Use For a Name, Nofx... In August 2001 they record their first cd demo “Take off your goggles!” with the old name “NO ASFALT” and the band starts to be known in her town. In september 2001 take part in a compilation (In the name of the punk) produced by Boomerang Records. The band is now doing well and plays in a lot of shows with more important band as 7 Years, Chromosomes, Bermudas, The Pills and in June 2002 with the punk rock legends DOWN BY LAW. So in August 2002 they record a new cd demo with 5 tracks “Brain of typical male” and easily partecipate in another punk rock compilation (“Explosion” still from Boomerang Records) with the tracks “My mind”. In winter 2002 indipendent labronic label Hot Movie Records contacts the band and she wants them in a compilation “Together for the first time” near bands as Rise Against, Undeclinable, Over it, Beerbong, Seed’n’feed, Forty Winks, 7 Years, That very time I saw... as the new promise of labronic punk-core scene. In the meantime the band changed their name from NO ASFALT to BAD (LOVE) EXPERIENCE and plays two times in their town in a festival with No Radical Change, 7 Years, Radio Mosquito and Last Avenue. But things are not so happy as you can see because Edo (guitar solo of the band) left their friends no more interested to play such a kind of music. So the rest of the band try to substitute him with Massi (ex vocals and guitar of Checkmate, another punk-hc labronic band) but the new formation don’t take off. So it’s time to reflect and have a pause. After two months therefore the band returns with the new formation with Vale (vocals and guitar), Ema (bass and vocals) and Gabri (drums) playing a different kind of sound taking inspiration from bands like Green day, Ataris, Lit, Diesel Boy...
