Inspired by the best moments of punk rock history, Budapest three-piece Bankrupt deliver a unique blend of newschool and oldschool melodic punk. (Influences range from the Ramones to NOFX). During the seven years of their existence, Bankrupt have played numerous concerts, including several bigger festivals, in their homeland and nearby countries like Austria, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic while their music also got a friendly reception in other parts of Europe, and in Northern America as well. Their first album, Listen, came out in 2000, the harder and faster, but still very melodic follow-up, Bad Hair Day, is scheduled to come out in Sept 2004.
